Services:

Leorah Walsh, MD, provides in-person and online psychiatric services for children, adolescents, and adults in Pennsylvania. Services include:

  • Psychiatric evaluation

  • Psychotherapy

  • Medication management

  • Consultation to other providers around management of psychiatric conditions

  • Second opinions

Billing and Fees:

Appointments are billed in 25 minute increments.

  • 50 minutes: $400

  • 25 minutes: $250

All new clients need a minimum of two one-hour appointments so that Dr Walsh has a chance to get to know you, obtain background information about care that you have previously received, and develop an effective plan. In some instances, additional appointment time may be needed to get to know you better before making a plan.

New appointments involving children require information to be gathered from the child, from parents/guardians, and may be structured differently depending on the child's age and capacity to tolerate longer or shorter appointments. Families that support individuals who struggle with communication, or who may struggle for a longer appointment, should discuss this information with Dr Walsh to arrange appropriate scheduling. Initial appointments should be in-person whenever possible, with second or future appointments available in-person or on zoom.

The frequency of appointments depends on your needs, and is tailored to suit each individual.

Dr Walsh does not currently accept any insurance plans. She is considered an out of network provider for all plans. She is happy to provide you an itemized receipt that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Payment is collected at the time of service; credit, debit, FSA, HSA accepted.

Good Faith Billing and the No Surprises Act:

Dr. Walsh is committed to clear, upfront communication about costs. According to the No Surprises Act, when you're not using insurance, you have the right to a Good Faith Estimate that explains the cost of care before your visit. The cost of appointments is described above, and the frequency of appointments is based on your needs which may change over the course of time. Estimates are available on request, which can be provided in writing before your first appointment.
